Homeschooling in Other Countries

In other countries like Austria, Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Ireland, Belgium or Sweden, it is a common practice to teach the children at home; in some countries the law even provides that parents teach their children at home! The handling to manage, test and support Home-Schooling is, however, highly different. In these countries, this task is taken on by private teachers as well as private schools or, sporadically, the children are only taught by their parents. By means of adequate tests, the level of knowledge then will get checked periodically.

Anyway, in all English-speaking countries it is allowed to run a Home-School in one way or another and the differences are as diverse as the countries are.
